Function:
*Privacy: with lock function but keyless, you could locked inside using the push button function , but can't open outside as there is no key. Usually for Bedroom/Bathroom door. (could open with coin in emergency)
*Passage: No lock, can't be locked, but has the latch, so just turn to open. Usually for Hall or Closet door.
*Dummy: Non-functional and inactive, only single knob (no latch).

I ordered three sets of these door knobs as I’m doing renovations on my house for black doors to make them “pop”. They were super easy to install and I love the design element of the knobs. I would note they do smudge from fingerprints pretty easily so if you are fanatical about that - it is worth considering!
I’m only leaving 3 stars because one of install kits was missing screws I’m in a very tight project timeline and it was super annoying to have this happen. I was able to make it work with spare screws I had in the house, but they don’t match my all black door. However, aesthetically and quality I would have. Given them a 4.

Just had one knob installed today. Very pretty and seem to be well made. Like some other reviewers,
I will revise my rating if the knob falls off. But so far so good.
I own an old house and wanted to keep with the original character. These door knobs are very easy to install. Not to mention the quality and price are unmatched. I will definitely be buying more when I continue with my renovations!
Love these knobs! So sturdy with a nice weight. The lock works like it should. I ordered in a Glass and ORB knob for bathrooms and closet doors.
